Galentine's Day Must Stay Forever !

It has been 11 years since Leslie Knope introduced the world to Galentine's Day, holiday for the world’s un sung heroes- our girlfriends. According to the Parks & Recreation episode, Galentines is a day to “leave [your] husbands and boyfriends at home, come over and kick it, breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies.” I could not think of a better way to spend a day. Brunch, Bubbly and Best Friends.

We have made it through almost an entire year of a pandemonium. Whether it’s a game night on HouseParty, or gathering virtually to plan our next Girls Trip- it goes without saying that my girlfriends have been my safety vest on this rollercoaster of a ride. Though this Galentine's Day will look different, go out of your way to love on the women in your circle. Research shows that women who gather with their girlfriends at least two times a week experience less anxiety and better physical health than other women.”
