In honor of March being Women’s History Month we’re going to switch things up and put our own little spin on a common workout. This is our version of the “Alphabet” workout with a slight twist.

This workout takes every letter of the Alphabet and assigns it a physical challenge. Typically one would spell their own name to create a workout, but this month we’re going to ask you to dedicate your workouts to spelling the names of some amazing Women in History.
Here are the Women we are honoring:
March 01-06 Malala Yousafzai, an education advocate and the youngest Nobel Peace Prize recipient.
March 07-13 Aretha Franklin, iconic singer, songwriter, actress, pianist and civil rights activist known as the “Queen of Soul”
March 14-20 Cicely L. Tyson, actress and fashion model with a career spanning more than seven decades. The late great icon is known for her portrayal of strong African American women
March 21-27 Billie Jean King, trailblazing professional tennis player and advocate for gender equality.
March 28-31 Zora Neale Hurston, a transcendent African-American writer, folklorist and anthropologist.

Here is an example of how this week should go...
Example: M-10 Burpees A-50 Jumping Jacks L-10 Tricep Dips A- 50 Jumping Jacks L-10 Tricep Dips A- 50 Jumping Jacks || Y-10 Pike Push-Ups O-40 Jumping Jacks U-20 Tricep Dips S-20 Jump Squat A- 50 Jumping Jacks F-10 Burpees Z- 30 Calf Raises A-50 Jumping Jacks I-30 Jump Jacks
Aim to go through each woman's name at least 3x’s a week. This is a great way to add some variety to your everyday workout and celebrate historical women.
