Sis, are you in need of time with the homies? Text the girls and let them know you will be hosting a virtual girls night & we can help you get started. Here are the keys to a successful Virtual Girls night...

1: Scheduling at the perfect time!
Everyone has different schedules, so it can sometimes be difficult finding the right time that works for everyone. If it becomes too difficult use this free resource called: When Is Good This website will help you find the perfect time slot to host your girls night!
2: Themes are a MUST!
We love a good theme! You could keep it simple and just do a "Wine Down Wednesday" or "Margarita Monday" or go all out and do "Twerk & Tea". Whatever gets you all excited to catch up and take your minds off the 2020 never ending struggles. It’s all about the drink and tea time for me!
3: Yes you need GAMES!
Depending on what resource you use for your virtual event you can use the games already included or bring your own to the table. House Party App is a great FREE resource for your virtual party and already has games included in the app. If you are using Zoom or another group face to face app you can bring your own games, use Pinterest for virtual drinking game ideas. If you are looking for trivia, Kahoot is the perfect free resource.
4: Respect Everyone’s Time!
As mentioned earlier we all have different schedules, and once you find that open time that works for everyone, RESPECT their time! Keep within the time parameters of the party- it is okay to run over a little- y’all are homies, not co-workers. Just keep in mind that some of your friends may have to work in the morning or some need alone time with their boo.
5: Close on an Uplifting Note!
After you all have laughed, spilled all the tea, played fun games, and finished your glasses of wine (or bottle because no judgement) end with encouragement. This could be a 5 minute words of affirmation exercise, a quick prayer, or moment of mediation. Whatever works best for your circle.
Lastly, ask someone to volunteer to plan the next one, keep the fun going! We hope this helps you plan your next virtual girls night because COVID can’t stop won’t stop sisterhood, and that’s on PERIOD.
Share with us in the comments below your plans for the next girls night!
