You are magic, but you must believe that.

We all have moments of self-doubt that keep us questioning who we are, why are we in the same place, why don't we look or have it like her. Those moments take our mind in spaces we should not be in. Instead let's work together to take up space loving ourselves!
“Mindset... It is all about mindset, from the moment you wake up to when you fall asleep at night. Everything is up to you. Your emotions, your thoughts, your perceptions, your reactions, every moment.”
Daily Affirmations
Say it and BELIEVE it!
Write out 1-3 encouraging messages on index cards or post-it notes and place it somewhere you always look in the mornings. For most that could be the bathroom or bedroom mirror, the kitchen cabinet, your calendar/planner. Read them to yourself out loud every morning with meaning. If you choose to do it in while in front of the mirror recite them while looking yourself in the eyes. Daily affirmations can help start your day off positively and block negative thoughts or concerns you normally have every morning. Once you have memorize one affirmation (probably after a month or so) create a new one for yourself.
Do One Thing That Frightens You
"Don't limit your challenges. Challenge your limits!"
What do you fear? Take a few minutes to write out your fears. Maybe it is meeting new people or heights. Decide to complete an activity that will allow you to face this fear head on. Take a rock climbing course or go to a bar alone and strike up a conversation with someone to make a new friend. Whatever you choose do it alone. You need to prove to yourself that you can face this challenge all on your own because YES SIS you are strong enough to do it!
Challenge Your Inner Critic
We are our worst critics.
We all have a inner voice that sometimes contributes to thinking we are not enough. Challenge that inner critic and take time to exercise positive thoughts by journaling on a regular basis. Write about the things that make you happy, what you are grateful for, list out your accomplishments. Take action in reminding yourself that you are fab! No matter what obstacles come your way it is your choice to push through and you grow stronger each and every time. The best versions of ourselves do not come from when everything is going smoothly, the best versions come out in the midst of trial.
Create Personal Boundaries
Learn to say no.
This has become so difficult for most of us, but we MUST learn to say no. Taking a pause and saying no to create more room for ourselves is so necessary in building self-confidence. We look to please people and feel the need to always help even when we do not want to or we are already overwhelmed with a thousand other things. I know it can seem harsh, but if they care for you and respect you they will respect you creating new boundaries for yourself. You can always word it differently to cushion the fall...
"No, that doesn't work for my schedule right now"
"No, I'm currently not available to do that"
"Sorry that is not a priority for me at this time"
"No, I am choosing to focus on time for myself right now"
